ORARE 1934 Cyclists Road Club Silver Enamel Cycling Medal Club Hill Climb Boxed. The Silver and enamel on the medal is in excellent condition with crisp hallmarks. It comes in the Original presentation box that has Gilded lettering depicting the makers details. This corresponds with the makers hallmark on the medal / Fob, so is all original.

The box has a hinged lid and purple velvet backing with a hook to secure the medal. The lid is push button spring loaded. The gilded lettering reads D George Collins manufacturing, Goldsmith Silversmith medalist Newgate Street London. The hallmark on the reverse is for the same maker, and it is hallmarked for Birmingham with a date letter "J" for 1933. The front has a red and blue enamel design with a shield in the centre. This is a Cycling Road Club badge from DRAYTON in Somerset. Bailey 1m 7 2/5 s.

This is in excellent condition and measures 32 millimetres across its diameter and the drop is 42 millimetres including the loop. It's a great piece of cycling memorabilia which is particularly Rare.
