This is for a superb Order of Merit of the Italian Republic - Knights grade medal. The medal is made of silver gilt. If you look closely at the photos it is struck with the 800 hallmark.

Twice for a solid silver fineness of 800/1000. These medals commenced in 1951. Ribbon of the Order for a Knight. The condition is very nice as shown in the photos.
