Rare Silver Enamel Dundee Lord Provost (Mayor) Medal Jewel 1967. A super quality sterling silver gilt and enamel medal of The Coat of Arms of Dundee, this being the Lord Provost (Mayor) of Dundee's badge/coat of arms, hallmarked from Birmingham in 1967 with the makers mark being that of Deakin & Francis Ltd. The reverse is engraved with the name Robert Doyle, he was never the Lord Provost but there was a Robert Doyle named a councillor at the time when Alexander Mackenzie held the office, it would appear councillors may have worn when on official duty with the mayor.
