Furnival Womens Sculling Club Furnival Sculling Club is a rowing club based on the tideway in Hammersmitj, London. It was founded in 1896 by /dr. Frederick James Furnivall, after whom riverside gardens, Furnivall Gardens are named.

For its initial five years the club was for women only and hosted the world's first female rowing team before extending membership to men in 1901. Victorian sterling silver and enamel medal / watch fob / pendant in good condition.
