Vintage Chapin & Hollister Sterling Silver Chaplet Rosary Tiny Enamel Mary Medal

This is a vintage sterling silver (marked), chaplet rosary made by the Chapin & Hollister Company of Providence, R. The small rosary measures 18 1/2 inches around and has a 3 7/8 inch drop. There are 59 sterling beads: 6 are 4-millimeter beads, and 53 are 3-millimeter beads.

T he crucifix is 3/4 inch long and 1/2 inch wide. There is a tiny, blue enamel medal hanging next to the crucifix. The center piece, heart-shaped, bas relief medal features Mary on one side and the other side is plain. This rosary weighs 7.9 grams and is in excellent condition.
